Soccer Game Preview: West Henderson vs. Franklin

The West Henderson Falcons will head out to face off against the Franklin Panthers at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. West Henderson will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.

West Henderson's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past North Henderson 4-0.

West Henderson hit the Knights with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nicholas Kenny (2), Oliver Hognestad-Selland, and Dwain Francis.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Franklin made sure to put some goals up on the board against Smoky Mountain on Wednesday. They walked away with a 4-2 win over the Mustangs. Franklin haven't had any issues with Smoky Mountain recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

West Henderson's win bumped their record up to 11-8-2. As for Franklin, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12-2.

Everything went West Henderson's way against Franklin when the teams last played on October 1st, as West Henderson made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
