Football Game Preview: Helias Crusaders vs. Lift for Life Academy Hawks

The Helias Crusaders will challenge the Lift for Life Academy Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Helias is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Helias against Smith-Cotton as the team secured a 47-7 victory. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Lift for Life Academy was just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 17-16 to Central. While the Hawks had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Tigers 16-7.

Helias' win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Lift for Life Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Helias didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Lift for Life Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 17-12 victory.
