Preview: Lakeside vs. Duluth
Lakeside have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Duluth at 7:30 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes : the MaxPreps state rankings predict a close match.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-49, which was the final score in Lakeside's tilt against Northview two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, Duluth didn't have too many spare points in their matchup with Lakeside last Friday, but they still walked away with a 7-3 win.
Duluth's victory lifted them to 1-2 while Lakeside's defeat dropped them down to 1-1. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
