Football Recap: South Umpqua Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The matchup between South Umpqua and Siuslaw on Friday hardly resembled the 14-9 effort from their previous meeting. The Lancers were beaten by the Vikings 48-13. The Lancers lost against the Vikings in their previous head to head back in November of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 14-9 score last time.

Siuslaw found their leader in sophomore Jericho Lake, who threw for 214 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.

This is the second loss in a row for South Umpqua and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Siuslaw, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.
