Basketball Recap: Winooski Spartans vs. Williamstown Blue Devils
Winooski was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 70-64 heartbreaker at the hands of the Williamstown Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-49 back in January.
Leading Williamstown to victory were Evan Bailey and Nick Mascitti. Bailey posted 17 points along with six rebounds and five assists, while Mascitti dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards.
