Volleyball Game Preview: Chaparral Cowboys vs. Las Vegas Wildcats

The Chaparral Cowboys will venture away from home to challenge the Las Vegas Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Chaparral will be strutting in after a win while Las Vegas will be coming in after a defeat.

While Chaparral's victory against Clark wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cowboys had just enough and edged out the Chargers 3-2 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cowboys.

Meanwhile, Las Vegas came up short against Southeast Career Tech on Saturday and fell 2-0.

The win got Chaparral back to even at 9-9. As for Las Vegas, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Everything went Chaparral's way against Las Vegas when the teams last played back in March, as Chaparral made off with a 3-0 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Wildcats' Omar Duarte, who had 21 digs and two aces.
