Basketball Recap: Baxter Comes Up Short

Baxter lost against North Mahaska back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Baxter fell just short of the North Mahaska Warhawks by a score of 59-57.

Baxter has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-3 record this season. As for North Mahaska, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1.

Baxter has already played their next game, a 64-58 win against Colo-NESCO on the 14th. As for North Mahaska, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 71-61 defeat against Keota on the 14th.
