Basketball Recap: Flippin Comes Up Short

Flippin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Salem Greyhounds and fell 71-36. The Bobcats were probably out for revenge after losing 58-25 to them when the teams met back in January of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Flippin's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Salem, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Flippin has already played their next match (against Melbourne), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Salem will face off against Yellville-Summit at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Salem knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Yellville-Summit likes a good challenge.
