While Mountain View's victory against Old Forge wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles skirted past the Blue Devils 2-1. Given Mountain View's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 126th, while Old Forge are ranked 256th) , the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mountain View is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those nine matches. As for Old Forge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Mountain View will square off against Gregory The Great Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Old Forge, they will venture away from home to take on Holy Cross at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
