After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Walnut Grove, Eastside was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Alcovy Tigers. Considering Eastside's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Eastside's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Alcovy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastside will host East Forsyth at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. East Forsyth will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Eastside surely won't give up without a fight. As for Alcovy, they will square off against Utopian Academy for the Arts at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Alcovy will be up against Utopian Academy for the Arts' rather soft defense (which has allowed 10.8 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
