Softball Recap: Jacksboro Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Jacksboro won the last time they faced Memorial and things went their way on Thursday too. The Jacksboro Tigers came out on top against the Memorial Mavericks by a score of 11-6. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Brailyn Tullous, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Brooke Reaves was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Jacksboro hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 5-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Jacksboro now has a winning record of 8-7-1. As for Memorial, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Jacksboro wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 9-5 victory against Mineral Wells on the 6th. As for Memorial, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-0 loss against Holliday on the 6th.
