Hunt was the 3-1 winner over C.B. Aycock when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Falcons on Thursday. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Hunt started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 29-27, 25-16, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Hunt still got an impressive performance from Brooke Daniel, who had 18 digs and six aces. Daniel has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

C.B. Aycock's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ella Moyer, who had 30 digs and three assists. That's the most digs Moyer has posted over her last seven games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Jenkins, who had 27 assists and nine digs.

Hunt's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for C.B. Aycock, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hunt will take on Princeton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for C.B. Aycock, they will square off against Goldsboro at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
