Basketball Game Preview: Unicoi County Blue Devils vs. Hampton Bulldogs

The Unicoi County Blue Devils just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Hampton Bulldogs at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, Unicoi County didn't have too much trouble with Grainger as they won 81-67. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Hampton gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 81-49 win over Sullivan East. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-21.

Unicoi County strolled past Hampton when the teams last played back in January by a score of 64-50. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Bulldogs' Bryce Fagan, who shot 67% from the field to rack up 22 points and six rebounds.
