Basketball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial and Hood River Valley squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Centennial had to settle for second. They fell to Hood River Valley 65-61. Centennial was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Hood River Valley earlier this season, when they won 74-62.

Centennial now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Hood River Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season.

Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hood River Valley, they will face off against Putnam at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hood River Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Putnam likes a good challenge.
