Soccer Recap: Piedmont Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Tuesday. Piedmont took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ponca City. Piedmont has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Piedmont's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-1. As for Ponca City, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Piedmont wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Union on the 17th. As for Ponca City, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Stillwater on the 18th.
