Recap: Don Soffer Aventura Barracuda vs. Horeb Christian Mustangs
The Don Soffer Aventura Barracuda can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Horeb Christian 68-24 at home. That's two games straight that Don Soffer Aventura has won by exactly 44 points.
Don Soffer Aventura found their leader in underclassman Alan Grigorov, who scored 17 points along with two steals. That's the first time this season that Grigorov scored 15 or more points. Ocean Nahum was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
Don Soffer Aventura's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Horeb Christian, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Don Soffer Aventura will challenge Monsignor Pace at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Monsignor Pace focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Friday. As for Horeb Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Academy for Innovative Education at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
