Soccer Game Preview: Illinois Math & Science Academy vs. DePue/Hall

Illinois Math & Science Academy and DePue/Hall are an even 3-3 against one another since September of 2021, but likely not for long. The Titans will face off against the Little Giants at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Illinois Math & Science Academy will be strutting in after a victory while DePue/Hall will be coming in after a defeat.

If Illinois Math & Science Academy beats DePue/Hall with three goals on Monday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Titans walked away with a 3-1 win over Serena on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for Illinois Math & Science Academy in their matchups with Serena: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, DePue/Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to Quad Cities Christian. While losing is never fun, DePue/Hall can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 455th, while Quad Cities Christian are ranked 27th).

DePue/Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13-1. As for Illinois Math & Science Academy, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
