Baseball Game Preview: Coronado Mustangs vs. Plainview Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Coronado will face off against Plainview. The Mustangs will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Coronado is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Coronado proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 11) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Plainview 6-5.

The team relied heavily on Caden Langill, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as he's now brought in three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Justin Lara was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Coronado's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Plainview, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15-1 record this season.
