Basketball Recap: Jack Kriebel's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lititz Christian over West Shore Christian Academy

If Lititz Christian was feeling good fresh off their 49-15 takedown of Covenant Christian Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lititz Christian Eagles took a 50-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Shore Christian Academy on Tuesday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-47 back in December of 2024.

Lititz Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jack Kriebel, who posted 14 points and three blocks. Kriebel is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Elijah Antes, who had nine points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Even though they lost, Lititz Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in ten consecutive games dating back to last season.

Lititz Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for West Shore Christian Academy, they moved to 4-4 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lititz Christian will welcome Harrisburg Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Shore Christian Academy, they will take on Covenant Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
