Soccer Recap: Salem Comes Up Short

Salem lost against New Albany back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lions lost 9-0 to the Bulldogs.

Salem's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for New Albany, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salem will take on Silver Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Silver Creek's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for New Albany, they will square off against Floyd Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
