Softball Recap: Lauderdale County Takes a Loss

Lauderdale County blew Waterloo out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Waterloo got their revenge. The Tigers fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 4-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Lauderdale County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season. As for Waterloo, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-7.

Coincidentally, Lauderdale County and Waterloo will both be playing Wilson the next time they take the field. The Cougars will head out to face the Warriors at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tigers will host them on Saturday.
