Soccer Recap: Cornerstone Christian Wins Going Away Against Bethel Christian

Cornerstone Christian kept a clean sheet against Bethel Christian on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Bethel Christian Kings with a sharp 9-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-0 back in December of 2024.

Cornerstone Christian's offense was hitting Bethel Christian from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Nathaniel Michel led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Cornerstone Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those four matches. As for Bethel Christian, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Cornerstone Christian will head out to face off against Norton Science & Language Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Norton Science & Language Academy will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Cornerstone Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bethel Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against La Sierra Academy at 3:30 p.m. on January 30th.
