            Softball Recap: Silas Rams vs. Peninsula Seahawks        
        
		
        
        
            After soaring to 18  runs the game before, Silas was a bit more limited  in their  match  on Thursday. They lost  7-1 to the Peninsula Seahawks. The Rams have struggled against the Seahawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
 Natalie Medalia spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned  (and three unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up six Ks.
 At the plate, Silas saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cailey Howell, who  went 1-for-2 with one  run.
Silas' loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Peninsula, their win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 7-5.
 Looking ahead, Silas will take on River Ridge at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 11.6  runs per game this season. As for Peninsula, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  contest,  a  7-6  victory against Yelm on the 18th.
