Madison had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Beacon Blue Demons a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Madison, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Madison's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Beacon, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1.

Looking ahead, Madison will challenge Bayside at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Beacon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
