Maranatha Christian entered their tilt with Victory Christian on Monday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victor by a 49-23 margin over the Victory Christian Vikings. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 26 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Victory Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ila Crane went 9 for 15 on her way to 19 points and five boards.

Maranatha Christian pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.8 points per game. As for Victory Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season.
