Baseball Recap: King Takes a Loss

King fell victim to Norco and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 9-0 to the Cougars. The loss continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost four in a row.

King saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Sanchez, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

King's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Norco, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

While King had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
