Softball Recap: Warsaw Comes Up Short

Warsaw made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Wayland-Cohocton, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Tigers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 5-3 on Monday. The Tigers have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Warsaw's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Wayland-Cohocton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

Warsaw will face off against Caledonia-Mumford at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wayland-Cohocton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
