Volleyball Recap: Unity Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Unity Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bethel Assembly Christian Academy Eagles. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Unity Christian Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-11, 25-13.

Unity Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Bethel Assembly Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Unity Christian Academy by a score of 2-0 later that day.
