Thunderbird extended their road winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Ema-Lee Burke. The Titans put the hurt on the Shadow Mountain Matadors with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday thanks in part to Burke, who had 24 digs and two assists. She has been hot, having posted 15 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Thunderbird walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17, 25-16.

Shadow Mountain lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was LILLIAN VARGAS, who had 11 digs. Another player making a difference was ARIE MARCHELLI, who had 12 assists and six digs.

Thunderbird's win bumped their record up to 22-12. As for Shadow Mountain, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.

Thunderbird wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Goldwater on the 30th.
