Softball Recap: South Laurel's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

South Laurel waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Middlesboro Yellowjackets get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Cardinals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

South Laurel let Addison Baker and Bailey Frazier run wild. Baker went 3-for-4 with three runs, three doubles, and four RBI, while Frazier scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Frazier has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Morgan Jackson, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base.

South Laurel's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Laurel will host Pulaski County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Middlesboro, they will welcome Barbourville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
