Soccer Recap: Lansing Comes Up Short

Lansing fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Seaman on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 2-1. The loss continues a trend for Lansing in their meetings with Seaman: they've now lost three in a row.

Lansing's goal came courtesy of Xavier Perez, who's now up to seven this season.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 4-4-1. As for Seaman, they pushed their record up to 5-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Lansing will host Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Seaman, they will face off against Blue Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
