Recap: Copper Hills Grizzlies vs. Mountain Ridge Sentinels

The Copper Hills Grizzlies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight defeat. They took a 61-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mountain Ridge. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Mountain Ridge got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Will Lindsay out in front who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Lindsay is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Spencer Krainich, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Copper Hills has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Mountain Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.

Copper Hills will head out on the road to face off against Corner Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Corner Canyon will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Copper Hills surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mountain Ridge, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bingham at 7:00 p.m. Mountain Ridge is on a three-game streak of home losses, Bingham a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
