Volleyball Game Preview: Aspen Skiers vs. Coal Ridge Titans

The Aspen Skiers will face off against the Coal Ridge Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Aspen is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Standley Lake just ended the team's seven-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gators.

Meanwhile, Coal Ridge had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Pirates as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Coal Ridge walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-10, 25-20.

Coal Ridge's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Aspen, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-2.

Aspen beat Coal Ridge 3-1 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Will the Skiers repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
