Volleyball Recap: Cordova Takes a Loss

Cordova lost against Dillingham back in October of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Cordova fell just short of Dillingham by a score of 1-0. Cordova has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their offense was headlined by Victoria Nothstine and Camila Vargas, who picked up two kills apiece. Vargas also shared the team's lead in assists with Willow Tiedeman: they picked up two each.

Cordova's loss dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Dillingham, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Cordova and Dillingham will both be playing Sand Point the next time they take the court. Cordova will head out to face Sand Point at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, while Dillingham will head out to face them at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
