Anna's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Sherman as Anna made off with an 8-0 win. That's two games straight that the Coyotes have won by exactly eight goals.

Meanwhile, Walnut Grove hasn't lost a match since January 28th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over McKinney North. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 109th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Anna and bumps their season record up to 9-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Walnut Grove, their win bumped their record up to 16-1.
