Volleyball Game Preview: Pulaski County Maroons vs. Casey County Rebels

Pulaski County has gone a perfect 3-0 against Casey County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 a.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Saturday, Pulaski County didn't have quite enough to beat Letcher County Central and fell 2-1. While the Maroons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars 25-19 in the first set.

Pulaski County started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-18, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Casey County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to Southwestern. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Rebels were not able to get on the board.

Pulaski County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Casey County, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Pulaski County was able to grind out a solid victory over Casey County in their previous meeting back in March, winning 3-1. Will the Maroons repeat their success, or do the Rebels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
