Softball Recap: Sunset Comes Up Short

Sunset was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Crowley Panthers. Even if the Bison couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Sunset's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for North Crowley, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5.

Sunset didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-3 loss against Lamar on the 15th. As for North Crowley, they will take on Venus at 10:30 a.m. on February 22nd.
