Volleyball Recap: Hinsdale Central's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Hinsdale Central can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They skirted past the Plainfield East Bengals 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Red Devils have posted since April 30th.

Bjorn Vinje paced Hinsdale Central's offense, picking up 12 kills. Vinje got some help from Harry Hughes and his 28 assists. Hughes also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Dane Beringer, racking up two apiece.

Hinsdale Central's win bumped their record up to 6-18. As for Plainfield East, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-17.
