Football Recap: Chester Skates Past Pinckneyville with Ease

Chester won the last time they faced Pinckneyville and things went their way on Friday too. The Yellowjackets blew past the Panthers 53-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellowjackets.

Trayton Peters had a dynamite game, throwing for 182 yards and five TDs while completing 92.9% of his passes.

Chester didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kanon Jany and Zane Eggemeyer.

Chester has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Pinckneyville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chester will head out to face off against Frankfort at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pinckneyville, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Dupo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
