Basketball Recap: Waterford Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Waterford entered their tilt with Rowland Hall on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They strolled past the Winged Lions with points to spare, taking the game 37-22. The Ravens have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Winged Lions, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Waterford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lexee Hasebi, who posted 12 points and four steals. Berklee Hasebi was another key player, putting up four points along with seven boards and six steals.

Despite the loss, Rowland Hall saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mina Bailey scored 11 points.

Waterford's record now sits at 14-2. As for Rowland Hall, they dropped their record down to 4-10 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.
