Football Game Recap: Woodgrove vs. Heritage

Woodgrove entered their match the last time the two teams met as the heavy favorite, and they fully lived up to expectations. They took their contest against Heritage on Friday by a conclusive 27-6 score. The lopsided score is just par for the course this season for Woodgrove, who can brag about four blowout wins.

The victory (their 4th in a row) raised Woodgrove's record to 5-2. This is the second loss in a row for Heritage and nudges their record down to 5-4.

Those two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games. Heritage will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against Loudoun County in two weeks at 7:00 PM. Heritage have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Loudoun County are surely hoping to exploit.
