Burlington-Edison is 7-1-1 against Ferndale since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tigers will host the Golden Eagles at 6:30 p.m.

Burlington-Edison's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past Mt. Baker 1-0. The win continues a trend for Burlington-Edison in their matchups with Mt. Baker: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, while Ferndale scored more goals than they have all season, the final result was a bit underwhelming. Neither they nor Oak Harbor could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. While a more conclusive result would've been nice, Ferndale got plenty of practice considering the match was the highest-scoring draw the team's played all season.

Burlington-Edison picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-3-2. Ferndale's draw makes their record 1-2-4 this season.

Burlington-Edison was able to grind out a solid win over Ferndale in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Golden Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
