Volleyball Recap: Weber Extends Winning Streak to Four

Weber entered their tilt with Mountain Crest on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mustangs. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Weber had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-22, 25-16, 25-12.

Leading Weber to victory were Seth Cook and Dallin Hurd. Cook had 17 assists and four digs, while Hurd had seven digs and two aces. That's the most aces Hurd has posted since back in May of 2024.

They weren't the only good server: Weber was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mountain Crest only served four aces.

The victory got Weber back to even at 6-6. As for Mountain Crest, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Weber wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Logan on the 21st. As for Mountain Crest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Bear River on the 20th.
