Preview: Indian Springs COYOTES vs. San Bernardino Cardinals

Indian Springs is 9-1 against San Bernardino since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Indian Springs COYOTES will be playing in front of their home fans against the San Bernardino Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Indian Springs posted their biggest victory since December 18, 2023 on Tuesday. They really took it to Miller for the full four quarters, racking up a 68-39 win at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-12.

Indian Springs had a senior duo take command as Adorian Cherry scored 28 points and Jordan Culberson scored 22 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks. That makes it five consecutive games in which Cherry has scored at least a third of Indian Springs' points. Another player making a difference was Victor Camba, who scored four points along with six rebounds and four steals.

Meanwhile, San Bernardino didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Pacific on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 53-47 victory.

San Bernardino's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mason Vilhauer led the charge by scoring 16 points along with four steals. Alexis Quinteros was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six steals and five rebounds.

Indian Springs is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-13 record this season. As for San Bernardino, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.

This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Indian Springs hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 54.6 points per game. It's a different story for San Bernardino, though, as they've been averaging only 58.1 points per game. The only thing between Indian Springs and another offensive beatdown is San Bernardino. Will they be able to keep them contained?

Indian Springs was able to grind out a solid win over San Bernardino when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 85-74. Does Indian Springs have another victory up their sleeve, or will San Bernardino turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
