North Duplin had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 4-0 to the Spring Creek Gators. North Duplin haven't had much luck with Spring Creek recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The victory got Spring Creek back to even at 1-1.

North Duplin will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on East Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on the 8th. As for Spring Creek, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against NCSSM: Durham on the 23rd.
