Volleyball Recap: Riverside Extends Winning Streak to Three

Riverside entered their tilt with Mount Vernon on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mustangs. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Nevaeh Hays paced Riverside's offense, picking up six kills. Hays got some help from Kaitlyn Haroski and her 13 assists. Finally, Addesyn Dingle kept Riverside's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Riverside's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Mount Vernon, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 21-18 record.

Riverside has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against South Effingham on the 27th. As for Mount Vernon, they will welcome Mundy's Mill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
