Basketball Recap: Jericho Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jericho can now relate to. They took a blow against the Elmont Memorial Spartans on Wednesday, falling 72-34. The game marked the Jayhawks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Jericho's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Elmont Memorial, the victory was the 14th in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Jericho does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Elmont Memorial will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Garden City at 8:00 p.m. on March 4th.
