Softball Recap: Shorecrest Scots vs. Glacier Peak Grizzlies
Shorecrest had lost four straight at home, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 5-13 to make it five. They lost 11-1 to the Glacier Peak Grizzlies. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Scots couldn't push the score so high this time.
Shorecrest saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riu Hanrahan, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
As for Glacier Peak, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5. Considering they have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
On Glacier Peak's side, the team relied heavily on Briannica Titus, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI Titus has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauren Hufford, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
As of now, neither Shorecrest nor Glacier Peak have any future games scheduled.
