Basketball Game Preview: Banning Pilots vs. Triumph Charter Jaguars

The Banning Pilots and the Triumph Charter Jaguars will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Banning saw some tournament action on Tuesday. The contest between them and Alhambra didn't end well, with Banning falling 52-37. The Pilots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Triumph Charter came up short against Wilson on Tuesday and fell 64-56.

Banning will have to contain Antonio Garcia III as he made an impact in Triumph Charter's last game. He dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 boards. Garcia III has been hot for a while, having also posted three or more steals the last nine times he's played. Another player making a difference was Juan Guerra, who went 6 of 14 en route to 13 points.

Triumph Charter has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Banning, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
