Volleyball Recap: Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Fairfield Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17, 25-14.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Fairfield, their win ended an 11-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-8.

Valley and Fairfield could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Vikings will face off against Armijo at 6:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (1375 vs. 610). Meanwhile, Fairfield (ranked 1176th) will meet West Campus (ranked 303rd) at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
